Wow. It's been almost 2 weeks since I last blogged. I am so sorry for that. So much has happened. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I only have 5 1/2 more weeks here at BLFR Malibu. I have decided to extend one more week and go to the Utah Resort on Feb 12th. Just to be able to experience both resorts. I am really sad that my stay here is almost over. This has been an experience of a lifetime. I wouldn't give it up for anything. I have been so blessed. I know that I have said all of this before, but it is so true. My family has supported me, prayed for me and listened to me. I am eternally grateful for all they do for me.
You have all heard me talk about my new trainer Tonia. I can't say enough about her. She is AMAZING, AWESOME, and is the best trainer here. (I am a little bias). She has been here to listen to me complain, make excuses, etc and hasn't let me give up on myself. She hasn't accepted my excuses and has called me out when I have made excuses. She has pushed me beyond what I believed was my best. She hasn't given up on me. I am forever grateful to her. Thank you so much Tonia for all you have done for me. I will never be able to repay you for what you have done. You have helped me forever change my life and have helped me to start believing in myself again.
Last week I lost 3.6 pounds. So my total is 66.1 pounds. On Friday, Dec. 30th I received an email from a lady that I have never met or talked to. She has been reading my blog. She wrote this email to let me know how much I have inspired her and others with my blog. She informed me that she is a middle aged single women that was extremely overweight and has been thinking about coming to one of the resorts for over a year now, but is scared to. It blew me away. I was inspired by her for stepping out and writing the email in the first place, let alone asking for help. When I started this blog, I started it to keep my family and my friends informed of my progress and to have a keepsake of my journey. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would reach others and inspire them to change their lives. God is so good. He uses everything for His purpose. I am still training for my 5K. Don't know when it's going to be yet. I will let you all know when I find out. I am getting so excited for it though.
Well, I have been sick today with a cold and a headache so I am going to sign off for now. Thank you all for all of your support and prayers. It means the world to me. Good night until the next time I blog.
